The main research directions of the Department of Information Engineering include information countermeasures and remote sensing technology, which are cutting-edge directions in information and communication engineering. They are key technical supports for key national economic fields such as national territorial security, national defense and aerospace, environmental resources, smart agriculture, financial insurance, and the Internet. Combining advanced artificial intelligence, big data analysis, software development, and high-performance computing, the department realizes information fusion and mining to empower the real economy. The research directions are as follows:
1.Spatial Intelligent Remote Sensing Field: Including hyperspectral imaging perception, high temporal resolution intelligent monitoring, spatial remote sensing scene intelligent understanding, close-range visual navigation and relative pose measurement for rendezvous and docking, smart agriculture intelligent equipment, and other sub-research directions.
2.Electromagnetic Spectrum Intelligent Perception and Countermeasures Field: Including electromagnetic perception and intelligent cognition of battlefield situation, multi-source fusion detection in countermeasure environments, network-electronic composite countermeasures for advanced information systems, and other sub-research directions.
